Exhibition Designer (1 year contract, up to 34k)

Title:  Exhibition Designer (1 year contract, up to 34k)

Time: 9am-6pm (Mon-Fri)

Salary: $34500 per Month

Location: Science Museum

Responsibilities:

·        To assist in producing conceptual design drawings, 3D rendering and technical drawings

·        To coordinate on design inputs for production works with different working groups

·        To coordinate comments and response to local and overseas contractors

·        To conduct research and testing of exhibits prototypes for exhibitions

·        To assist in producing graphics artwork for exhibition display

·        To assist in on-site setting up of exhibition layout

·        To assist in on-site mounting and display of objects and graphics of exhibition

·        To assist in updating 3D drawings and digital files record

·        To perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors

Requirements:

·        A Bachelor's Degree/Higher Diploma from a Hong Kong Polytechnic University or equivalent, for which at least specialized in one of the following subjects: Graphics / Visual Communication Design, Advertising, Product Design, Environmental/Exhibition Design

·        At least 10 years' relevant working experience as a full-time designer worked in
design house/exhibition or event companies/museum

·        At least 2 years of museum exhibition design experience

·        Good command of Chinese and English

·        Good knowledge in the latest version of Macintosh Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effect; strong in cartoon

·        Proficiency in 3D software such as Sketch Up, Autodesk Maya or 3D Studio MAX and have professional rendering skills

Able to work independently, have good interpersonal communication skill
