QA Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure comprehensive coverage of the eCommerce platform's functionalities and features. Conduct both manual and automated testing to identify defects, inconsistencies, and performance bottlenecks.


• Document and report defects, issues, and enhancement requests using appropriate tools and methodologies. Collaborate with the development team to investigate and troubleshoot reported issues, ensuring timely resolution and maintaining accurate defect tracking records.


• Conduct performance testing to evaluate system responsiveness, scalability, and stability under different load conditions. Perform security testing to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.


• Contribute to the development and improvement of quality assurance processes, methodologies, and tools. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and establish quality standards, guidelines, and best practices for software development and testing.


• Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports. Effectively communicate test results, progress, and any identified risks or issues to stakeholders, ensuring clear and concise reporting.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.


• Proven experience working as a QA Specialist or in a similar role, preferably in an eCommerce or software development environment.


• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes, including test planning, test case design, and defect tracking.


• Experience in performing both manual and automated testing, utilizing testing frameworks and tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or similar.


• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
